TDP-0 / Product FIG. 01
Why This Model

Built for
its job.

01

No Power Needed

Runs entirely on a hand crank, so it works anywhere there's a flat, sturdy surface — no outlet, generator, or battery required.

02

Interchangeable Dies

Takes the same universal tooling standard as the rest of the line, so a die bought for the TDP-0 is a known quantity if you ever move up to the TDP-1.5 or TDP-5.

03

Built for Small Runs

At 20–50 tablets a minute by hand, it's sized for formulation trials, classroom demonstrations, and one-off batches rather than production volume.

Questions

Frequently
asked.

Do I need electricity to run the TDP-0?

No. It's fully manual — you turn a crank handle to cycle the punch, fill, and eject stages. This is what keeps it light and portable.

How many tablets can I realistically make in an hour?

Sustained hand-cranking is tiring, so treat 30–50/min as a burst rate. Most operators settle into a slower, steady pace for anything beyond a short run.

Can I use it for pharmaceutical production?

Contact surfaces are food- and pharma-safe, but the TDP-0 is sized for R&D, teaching, and small batches — not GMP production runs. For that, look at the TDP-5.

Will TDP-0 tooling fit the TDP-1.5 or TDP-5?

Tooling and several drift-pin components carry over across the line since they share a universal tooling standard, which makes upgrading later straightforward.

Reviews

What buyers
say.

4.7 out of 5, based on 3 reviews.

★★★★★
Maria S. March 2026

Perfect for small-batch trials before we scale a formulation. No power outlet needed, which matters in our older building.

★★★★★
James K. January 2026

Held tolerance through 300+ tablets in our first trial run. Simple enough that I didn't need a manual to get started.

★★★★☆
Priya R. November 2025

Does exactly what we need for pilot batches. Only wish it came with a spare punch set in the box.
